Love this story, John. I hope the machines find good homes. I don't recall playing the Pioneer, but it looks like it's from my era. I, too, played games in college to blow off steam. There was a small, sweaty game room between the library and my dorm and I spent loads of time and quarters playing Asteroids Deluxe.
